Are grandstands good seats at Fenway? ›

We recommend avoiding the entire Grandstand and focusing your search on other areas of the ballpark with clear sitelines. So why sit in the Grandstand at all? There are two main reasons: First, the Grandstand seats demonstrate the charm of Fenway Park better than any other area.

The best seats are of course on the Green Monster in left field. After that any seat is special and worth every buck. There are some seats that are blocked out or partial view so make sure to check that out before buying tickets.

Covered Seating at Fenway Park

There are covered seats in the Infield Grandstand sections on the lower level, behind home plate or on the 3rd base side of the ballpark, and farther back in one of those same sections or in a row that's covered.

Grandstands are the larger, more complex seating systems when comparing the two. Grandstands may have basic bench seating-but can also feature individual chair back seats.

In the deepest part of right field at Fenway Park, seat 21 in row 37 of section 42 is painted bright red, standing out amongst an endless sea of green. It's such a Fenway landmark that it's even visible on the official seating chart when fans buy tickets from RedSox.com.

The Outfield Grandstand Sections 32-33 are alcohol-free sections that are closer to the infield. These seats offer some of the nicest views and are of the best value at Fenway Park. The no-booze policy is strictly enforced though, making it an ideal spot for kids as well.

Even if you aren't particularly a baseball fan you are gonna love Fenway. If you are not a Red Sox fan you are gonna love Fenway. It's small for a major league stadium and that makes it the best ever. While I prefer seats in the shaded areas there isn't a bad seat in the house.

Of course, those things are best done from inside Fenway Park, and getting in is not always easy and seldom cheap—ticket prices range from $12 for upper bleacher seats to $312 for infield dugout box seats. With a capacity of 38,805 spectators, Fenway is one of Major League Baseball's smallest parks.

While the right field seats are known as the Bleachers, the seats actually feature a chairback (but not armrests).
