Did Greg really find Jinx? ›

Greg loses Jinx, so temporarily replaces him with a near-identical stray, whose tail he spray-paints and who makes a mess of the house and destroys Debbie's wedding dress. Greg's deception is exposed when a neighbor finds the real Jinx, so the entire Byrnes family demand Greg leave Long Island.

I enjoyed the sequel "Meet the Fockers" more than the original "Meet the Parents" for one reason: the performance of Dustin Hoffman. Overall, it was a fine ensemble cast and good scripting of the jokes and situations surrounding the irrepressible ex-CIA agent and family patriarch Jack Byrnes (Robert DeNiro).

Jack returns to defend them after being informed Greg is not Jorge's father (his real father turns out to be a baseball player who also resembles Greg), but the overzealous LeFlore tasers and arrests him as well.

The Animated Netflix series, Arcane (TV series) presents the story of two sisters suffering from extreme trauma. Fans trust Jinx suffers from borderline personality disorder, PTSD and Schizophrenia, while Vi has extreme childhood trauma.

As the time came for the movie to be released the Motion Picture Association of America became concerned with using the name "Fockers" — they wanted to limit Universal's use of the name on posters, or the main title in the movie. The similarity of the family name to an R-rated expletive was too close for the MPAA.

Parents Need to Know

This movie has some strong language (including "s--t"), especially in reference to Greg's unfortunate last name (Focker); drug use plus cigarette smoking by the main character; and potty humor -- a septic tank backs up on the lawn, for starters.

On August 24, 2010, it was announced that Dustin Hoffman would be reprising his role as Greg's father, Bernie Focker. The studio failed to reach salary terms with Hoffman until principal photography had wrapped. As a result, his role in the film is significantly smaller than that in the previous entry.

Later, Greg loses Jinx and replaces him with a stray whose tail he spray paints to make him look like Jinx which happens to also make a mess (tears up Debbie's wedding dress and breaks up all the wedding China) of the house (though the real Jinx is later found).

Silco finds Jinx and brings her to Singed, a scientist who injects her with Shimmer to heal her injuries.

Jinx is the girlfriend of Kid Flash. Their relationship was kind of rocky at first but they are off that road and now really care for each other. In the comics they are shown more romantic. They have been seen on dates to the movies, at the carnival, at the pizza place, and in the park.

For Jinx, Silco is a father figure who has replaced Vander and Vi in her life, guiding her and mentoring her in the way that they might have if they were able to.
